This privacy policy covers all Brazil Business Report sites, including those listed at This policy also covers User Information received by BBR that is submitted on forms and quizzes accessible from BBR sites. It does not, however, apply to information collected by entities that Brazil Business Reports does not own or control that may be linked to our sites once a user is redirected off the BBR website.

No information from children under age 13

If you are under age 13, please do not attempt to contact a school through a BBR site, use our match matching quiz or provide any personal information about yourself to us. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. If you believe that we might have any information from a child under age 13, please contact us.

Parental participation

We strongly recommend that minors 13 years of age or older ask their parents for permission before sending any information about themselves to anyone over the Internet and we encourage parents to teach their children about safe internet use practices.

Surfing Data

When you visit any page on the Website, we use standard web server log files (such as Google Analytics) to collect information on the efficiency and working of the Website. This information includes the number of times a web page is accessed, the browser used, paths taken when moving through the Website, and search terms entered by users. We keep this information for an indefinite time to improve the operation of the Website and to prepare anonymous data compilations regarding traffic on the Website.

Collection and Use of Information 

What Information We Collect

When you fill out the Student Matchmaking Quiz or Contact Forms on our sites, you provide us with personal information such as your name, email, phone number, age and country of origin as well as some details about your current education goals, preferences, interests and educational information. We collect and store this information if you voluntarily enter it. This information is collected for the purpose of matching students with schools/universities in contact for purposes of study abroad. We may also collect data about our general user profile market segments, distributions, age, region based on data collected and tracked via Google Analytics and non-personal information such as a catalog of the site pages you visit or your IP address.

Where Information Is Stored

Personal information and data collected through the completion of Contact Forms, Matchmaking Quizzes and on Google Analytics via our sites are collected through the servers where our sites reside, and then stored into Google sheets that are maintained and accessible by BBR. The information is also sent through Gmail email servers in order to be emailed to the schools/universities (based on the schools/universities you select to contact or those you match with based on the matchmaking quiz) for the purpose of allowing those schools/universities to contact you with more information.


BBR’s goal is to protect confidential personal information collected on our sites and matching quizzes. The purpose of our sites and quizzes are to help connect prospective students/parents with participating schools/universities. To help facilitate this connection, this confidential personal information is transferred to the respective schools/universities accordingly. When this information is transferred to such third parties (the universities/schools), BBR is no longer responsible or liable for the security of that information.  At that point, the use of your personal information is governed by that third parties’ privacy policy.

Compelled by Law

In the event BBR is subpoenaed or otherwise issued a government order related to the personal information and data collected through the use of our site, we are obligated to comply with such order and we will share your personal information and/or data with such authorities.

Schools/Universities Contacting You

Different schools/universities have different methods of following up with student information requests. Some will send brochures in the mail, while others will reply via email or try to contact individuals by telephone, Skype or Whatsapp. By using our service to request information from schools/universities, you are giving permission to the schools/universities to contact you, using the method of their choice, to fulfill your information request.

Other sites

This Privacy Policy applies to Brazil Business Report’s services only. We do not exercise control over the links from within our various sites. These other sites may place their own cookies or other files on your computer, collect data or solicit personal information from you. In addition, we may use the information we collect to provide, maintain, protect, and improve our services (including advertising services) and develop new services; and protect the rights or property of Brazil Business Reports or our users.
